Valarie Allman, representing the United States and ASICS, produced an opening-round mark of 225-3 (68.66m) to win the women's discus throw in the Diamond League final at the Nike Prefontaine Classic at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Allman secured her third consecutive Diamond League title.
