After the Prefontaine Track Meet in 1995, at Hayward Field in Eugene, the producers of the Disney movie about Steve Prefontaine, set up a special filming session. They assembled 2,000 volunteers in one end of the grandstand, to re-create the cheering for Prefontaine, when he rounded the last turn and headed for the finish line. I had shot the track meet with my Canon L-1, so I went over and recorded about 45 minutes of the festivities. Here is 7 minutes of that. The trim and foxy woman wearing a yellow "Go Pre" shirt is Neta, who is Prefontaine's sister.
