After much too long, the reimagined Hayward Field at the University of Oregon hosted a grand opening celebration on the eve of the 2021 Prefontaine Classic. With 36 Tokyo Olympic medalists joining notable UO Track & Field alumni for an inspiring presentation, one fact was confirmed — the magic has returned to Hayward Field in full force!
